    WASHINGTON — Gov. Bill Richardson on Thursday snagged a top speaking slot at the Democratic National Convention, but it doesn't appear to be the most coveted one — the slot reserved for Barack Obama's vice presidential running mate.

    The science that points to Phillip James Busey also points away from Hubert "Hugh" Hauser as the killer of Kathryn Hauser, the beautiful, smart, outgoing Intel manager who was raped and bludgeoned with a brick on Jan. 19, 2005, prosecutors said Thursday.
